Salisbury International Art Festival

Fawcetts Fly High with the Festival in 2009

Salisbury based Fawcetts Chartered Accountants celebrate their 80th Birthday by sponsoring the free opening event, Transe Express with Mobile Homme, at the Salisbury International Arts Festival in 2009 (22 May-6 June) in what will be a spectacular night of entertainment.

With Fawcetts support on Friday 22 May Transe Express, a group of internationally-acclaimed French street artists will take to the air in Salisbury’s historic market square. This company specialise in ‘celestial art’, combining circus skills, visual arts, music and dance in performances that take place high above the crowds.

Simon Ellingham a partner at Fawcetts says of this support ‘We are delighted to be supporting the Festival and particularly, Transe Express in this our 80th year. It will be a wonderful colourful event that is free for all to attend, we hope everyone will get involved and celebrate throughout Salisbury and the wider region.’

Mobile Homme translates as ‘mobile men’ and Transe Express will perform with drums high above the heads of the crowds, suspended by an enormous crane. They have wowed audiences all over the world including Sydney, Las Vegas, Stockholm, Moscow and now … Salisbury!

Come to the market square from 8pm and grab a spot, there will be live music and food stalls so plenty to hear and taste...

Continued support from our valued sponsors such as Fawcetts and our principal sponsor Friends Provident allows us to present a programme that is made for all of you.
