A play all about the life of Eric Morecambe, best known as one half of comedy duoMorecambe and Wise , has won one of the most prestigious theatre awards.

morcambeA delicious and deliriously funny memorial to a man who held the mantle of 'Britain's best loved comic'. Guy Masterson and Tim Whitnall have created a glorious moving portrait of the affectionate lad with funny bones, born entertainer, big-hearted perfectionist... 'the tall one with glasses'.

This one man show with Bob Golding, directed by Guy Masterson was the hit of Edinburgh Festival 2009.

The play, which has been a big success since its debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2009, had a run in the West End and is now touring across the UK until Summer 2010.
