Corneliu Porumbolu. 89 mins. Cert 15. Subtitled
In a small Romanian town on the 16th anniversary of the revolution, the owner of a shoddy local TV station is frantically searching for guests to take part in a show about the town's involvement in the revolution.
With a second half that unfolds in real time as a hilariously shambolic talk show, this engaging black comedy paints a farcical picture of the controversial revolution, asking not only 'did it happen here?' but, more importantly, 'what difference did it make?'
"Beautifully observed and very funny, this film is a real treat." The Times
This evening's screening will be followed by a post show discussion with Patrick Bliss.
