Salisbury Food & Drink Festival

Sunday 21st September, 10am-5pm,

Market Square, Salisbury

The fifth Salisbury Food & Drink Festival will be taking place in the Market Square, Salisbury. Sixty stall holders will be displaying their wares in a feast of local produce ranging from sausages to cider, sweets to preserves. There will be a beer and wine tent run by Abbey Stores, Wiltshire Farmers' Market Stalls, a food hall, barbeques, hog roasts and entertainment.

The Festival is open from 10am - 5pm and there is plenty to keep visitors entertained throughout the day. Don’t miss the hotly contested waiters’ race with entrants from a variety of Salisbury’s favourite restaurants – with ASK defending their title.

Another way to enjoy the food market is to take part in our treasure hunt. This year there are twenty cardboard chickens hidden amongst the stalls. Entrants who correctly identify all the locations will be entered into a draw to win a cuddly toy and a free range chicken from Angel Cottage Farm.

Back by popular demand is the Neal’s Yard Herb Walk, first run for us during the Salisbury International Arts Festival. Don’t miss this informative and interesting walk - Neal’s Yard will be running two walks both on Saturday 20 September, the first one at 10am and the second at 3pm.

  • Places for this are free, but they will go quickly so please reserve a place by ringing the Festival Office on 01722 332241.
