Our Arts Award Welcome offer                         

Salisbury International Arts Festival is an Arts Award Welcome centre.

Arts Award is a nationally recognised scheme that supports young people aged 11 to 25 to develop as artists and art leaders through achieving a national qualification in any art form.

As an Arts Award Welcome centre Salisbury International Arts Festival can offer access to a wide range of art forms. We work with venues in the region and with world-class artists from the UK and overseas, giving young people the opportunity to see and connect with some of the most exciting companies and artists in dance, film, music, literature, theatre and visual arts.

We offer access to a wide range of arts opportunities which can support young people undertaking the Arts Award:

•           Enjoy and appreciate the arts through visiting or taking part in Festival events, workshops or special projects.

•           Volunteer in the arts Advisers can contact us to find out more about volunteer and placement opportunities for young people.

•           Meet arts professionals through artist talks, question & answer sessions or talks from staff.
