Itchen Valley Country Park, Eastleigh Borough

Itchen Valley Country Park is owned by Eastleigh Borough Council.  The park has 440 acres of beautiful water meadows, woodland and meadows that have recently been recognised by the award of a Green Flag.  There is a Visitor Centre with nature-based displays, a shop and toilets. There is also a Cafe for you to enjoy a cup of tea after following one of our many waymarked trails around the Park.

Nature Of Art In Wessex are working with the Creative Learning Team at Eastleigh Borough Council to design a project specifically for visually impaired groups.  We hope to work with one of the Point’s Associate Artists who will lead workshops with local visually impaired groups creating a sensory trail in the park.  The trail will be showcased during the Ageas Salisbury International Arts Festival 2012.
