Ageas Salisbury International Arts Festival is delighted that Salisbury family firm of solicitors Richard Griffiths & Co is sponsoring an event within the Festival fortnight this year.

Richard Griffiths & Co is co-sponsoring an appearance by Jazz vocalist and Radio 2 presenter Clare Teal. The award-winning performer, along with her Mini Big Band, will pay tribute Ella Fitzgerald at Salisbury Playhouse on Wednesday 31 May, 7.30pm.

Performing across the UK and internationally, Teal surges ahead with her mission to bring swing to music lovers everywhere. Through the celebration of past musical icons and her own original material, she demonstrates the genre is ever evolving and still relevant in today’s fast-paced music industry. Being described as “A sensation in the world of jazz” by the Mail on Sunday, Teal has won British Jazz Singer of the Year in 2005, 2007 and 2015 and BBC Jazz Singer of the Year in 2006.

Senior Partner, Richard Griffiths said: “Richard Griffiths & Co has been providing legal services in Salisbury since 1979, founded on the belief that every individual has a right of access to justice, just as every individual should have a right of access to the Arts. It is part of the fabric of society which binds us all together as human beings.  We have been supporters of the Salisbury International Arts Festival for many years.  We are excited to have the opportunity to co-sponsor Clare Teal this year with Wiltshire Life.  Mark Allen (publisher and editor of Wiltshire Life) and I are close friends and our combined love of Jazz makes this the perfect event to co-sponsor.

“Richard Griffiths & Co has six offices stretching from Swindon in North Wiltshire to New Milton in Hampshire.  We have qualified lawyers in every area of legal practice that you would expect to find in a ‘High Street’ legal firm.

“For personal expert legal advice please pop into your local branch or contact us by telephone 01722 329966 or email more information please visit our website”.

Festival Director Toby Smith said: “We are thrilled to be working with Richard Griffiths & Co who are again helping to bring a world-class jazz to Festival fortnight, this year in supporting Clare Teal’s appearance with her big band. In needing to find around £400,000 of funding each year, sponsors such as Richard Griffiths & Co are integral to the Festival and we are so grateful for such support”.
